How to Book Your Acting Headshot Session
There are three ways to get on the schedule. Choose whatever works best for you.

What Happens After You Book
Once your session is confirmed — whether online or by phone — here is exactly what to expect before you arrive at the studio.
1. Confirmation You’ll receive an immediate booking confirmation with your date, time, and session details. If you booked online through Acuity, the confirmation goes to the email address you used at booking.
2. Wardrobe Guidance Before your session, you’ll receive our wardrobe guide for acting headshots — what to bring, what to avoid, and how to plan your looks around your specific casting type. Agency Submission Package clients receive a personal wardrobe consultation call or text with Rez before their session date.
3. Your Session Arrive at 5205 Gravois Ave in the Bevo Mill District 5 to 10 minutes before your scheduled start time. We’ll spend a few minutes on goals and wardrobe, then get to work. Most sessions run one to two hours depending on your package and the number of looks.
4. Same-Day Selection and Delivery You review and choose your images before you leave the studio. Final retouched images are delivered in high resolution within 24 to 48 hours — formatted for Actors Access, Casting Networks, Backstage, and print.
Finding the Studio
Actor Headshot Studio is located at 5205 Gravois Ave in the Bevo Mill District of South St. Louis — one of the city’s most recognizable historic neighborhoods, anchored by the landmark Bevo Mill windmill. The studio is easy to find and straightforward to reach from every part of the metro area.

Quick Answers Before You Reach Out
Do I need to prepare anything before contacting you?
No. You can call, email, or fill out the form with as little or as much information as you have. If you know which session package you want and have a date in mind, great. If you have no idea where to start, that is fine too — we will figure it out together.
How quickly do you respond to messages?
Same day during normal business hours. If you send a message in the evening or over a weekend, you will hear back the following morning. For urgent requests — an upcoming audition deadline, for example — call or text 314-221-2166 directly for the fastest response.
Can I book a session for a teenager?
Yes. We photograph teen actors and young performers regularly. A parent or guardian is required to be present in the studio for the full session. Book the standard session that fits the performer’s needs — Acting Essentials or Agency Submission — and note in the message field that it is for a young performer.
Do you offer group rates for theatre companies or school programs?

What is your cancellation policy?
Life happens and schedules change. Please contact us as early as possible if you need to reschedule — 314-221-2166 or contact@shariphotography.com. We work with you to find a new date that fits your schedule.
